Oh how I adore Becca! Her presence exudes joy and you're bound to laugh when you're around her.
I remember sitting around a friend's kitchen a few years ago for a girl's night (read: nail polish and talking about boys). Becca mentioned a boy she met working that summer as a camp counselor. We all wanted to know more as soon as she told us he was from New Zealand and his name was Jacques! How fancy, right? Our first questions were obviously about what his accent was like.
By the end of the summer, Becca and Jacques were dating. Fast foward to them having a long distance relationship for a year, and then Becca moving half way across the world, and then their engagement earlier this year! We are so thrilled for them (and love how Becca has also adapted a New Zealander's accent since living there) and we're even more excited that we have the honor of being their photographers.
This August, they returned for a visit to Raleigh and we snagged their engagement session where they first met that summer working at Camp Chestnut Ridge in Efland, NC. It was the sweetest time of canoes, cuddling, and lots of belly rolling laughter!
Our wildly talented friend, Anna, (who was also present that girl's night Becca first told us about Jacques) came along and captured the whole engagement session on film. Anna is the Lead Editor for 21 Films, so you don't want to miss her awesome captures at the bottom of this post.
